Prerequisites: This 2-day course is open to Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants who have successfully completed Introduction to Canine Rehabilitation. All CCRTs, CCRPs, and CCRAs are welcome. Veterinary Technicians and Physical Therapist Assistants that are CCRPs must submit an Employer Agreement Letter.

Course Description: The concepts and mechanisms of pain are introduced, and assessment techniques and treatment options are covered in depth. An evidence-based rationale for combining pain management with multiple treatment modalities for better outcomes is presented. Participants work together to create combined drug, dietary and manual treatment plans for various case scenarios.
